Gym Jones - a place with industrial strength in large quantities

Gym Jones is a very special place in Utah I first heard about through a client at our Sports Injury Clinic.

Our client had seen the way the strength and conditioning team trained at Balance, with quality movement at the forefront  and we how we shared a lifestyle and passion for improving athletic movement. Striving for quality whatever we are doing. whether using kettlebells for strength, power endurance, bodyweight only movement for coordination and flow, joint mobility, metabolic conditioning using only bodyweight. Knowing this he said I'd enjoy what they had to say at Gym Jones.

Then a guy contacted me who was sent to me by recommendation of Mark Twight who is one of the founders of Gym Jones and was the S&C coach on the movie "300". Since then I have checked out the site a little further and they now have a group on Face Book too.

After reading the website the thing that struck me most was the paragraph that introduced the Disciples section of the site.

It resonated strongly with what I think Industrial Strength London is all about. What the club is about, how the coaching team at Balance has come about and the extended network that continues to grow and what I want this website to become.

Industrial Strength is a space, both real and virtual, that has brought people together, new and old friends, from a complete cross section of life.

    People who:

    • share a lifestyle of movement and wellbeing,
    • have a goal to be the best that they can be,
    • open minded, ready to learn and be taught,
    • prepared to go a little bit further in working toward greater athleticism.

Watch the Gym Jones intro video below. You'll see the work ethic that has attracted many to what was initially a climbers gym.

Mental toughness isnt everything but its something that few are prepared to work on
